Club Information
 

Senior Men - the club  competes in the Northern League as well as the local Wakefield & District league. We have also competed in the local Knock-out competitions, the Derbyshire open water tournament, & the Yorkshire over 35s. Our intention is to continue to improve the quality of our play primarily through our youth development programme. We also seek to improve the quality of our play through improving existing senior players & attracting other quality senior players to the club.

Senior Women - we don't have a team at the moment, but maybe in the future - watch this space !!

Junior Teams - The club has a thriving & well attended youth programme backed up by several qualified coaches & child protection officers. The players abilities range from new starters upward - We compete in the (mixed) age based competitions in the Wakefield & District League. - In addition, we also compete in the North East Counties. The club runs a 16 & under league team, as well as a 14 & under league team. - historically we have also played 12 & under mini polo friendlies.

The club currently have several members attending the Regional & National Water Polo Academies, with some training with the GB youth team. The club has had a lot of recent success with its junior programme culminating in local league wins as well as North East Counties wins.

We will also mix in & train with the Normanton club on Tuesday Evenings 8.45hrs to 9.45hrs  from January 2010 -Normanton Swimming Pool, Market Place Normanton, West Yorkshire, WF6 2AR
